Automatic Daylight Sensing Operation - Since headlight modules are not allowed to modulate at night, we have built in a remote photocell that senses daylight and only modulates your headlight during daylight hours (Note: the heads-up-alert feature will still work at night)
"Heads-Up Alert" Feature - This excellent conspicuity feature is designed to alert oncoming or crossing traffic of your presence when your headlight is not being modulated. Simply hit the horn button for a momentary 3 second burst of headlight modulation to alert an oncoming driver. This feature will automatically modulate high or low beam (whichever you happen to be on) to make your presence more visible.
Three Position Command Switch - for total control: OFF - Max Auto - Nova Auto. Off - totally disables the headlight modulator except the heads-up-alert feature. Max Auto - totally controls your headlight to give you maximum visibility Nova Auto - totally controls the headlight, but with a slightly less obvious flashing to keep from annoying other drivers or riders.
Dual Channel Modulation - Two separate channels for modulation are used. One for high beam and one for low beam.
No Excessive Heat Build-Up - Handles high power demand sealed beam and halogen headlights totaling up to 130 watts! Operates efficiently with only slight increase above ambient temperature at continuous max headlight power rating.
Surge Protected - Internal protection against transient voltage spikes during engine starts or charging system operation. Also drops out if voltage is too low, avoiding problems associated with low voltage.
